There is a story that has helped me push and push my mindset to change. We’ve probably all heard the misquoted bible verse growing up: “Money is the root of all evil.” If you say that enough times you will believe that lie.
You see, that is what I heard when I was young and no matter how many times someone tried to change the saying, the mindset that was put into me would override it and I would only hear it the way I learned it. The actual quote is: “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.” But many people will stay broke because some well-meaning pastor or preacher miss-quoted that verse by a few words and it stuck in the mind.
Today is the last part of this week’s theme of the Five M’s I used to create a system for success. Music started our week out as I get motivated from music and songs; then movies, which help me to find stories to train my mind to success. Riding my motorcycle is another motivator, as well as the motivational industry of reading and programs to get us to work on ourselves. Then today we close out with money.
Today is Black Friday and many people will be out in the shopping malls because of this last M. Yes we are talking about Money; no matter what system you are working on to improve a business you must make money to be a business. No, this blog is not you needing to be rich or striving to be wealthy, but think of this: if you create a system that gives you more money what could you do with the money?
Money was a draw as it’s needed to buy food, a home, to pay for those things that help me live my lifestyle. So what are you doing to get the money in your life that you need? Use the money as a way to plan the life you want to live. Once you choose your lifestyle then you get to design your system to reach it.
