So last week we focused on the topic of RockStar networking. A few weeks ago we talked about RockStar dreams. Well I want to show how the idea from last week moves to the point of making real friends. Let’s call this week “RockStar Friends.”
This also was one of those ideas that I had while traveling to RockStar Marketing Boot Camp a few weeks ago. I wanted to do this for a while but was just not sure how to place it and make it happen.
I read a few months ago on the WordPress.com site about a blogger who is meeting a new person each day and telling each person’s story on his blog. While I would like to take credit for this RockStar idea, I can’t. He did think of it first; but it needs a twist that shows the Tim Gillette RockStar idea guy flash to it. So this week we are going to talk about five different people I met in my walk around the room at the Craig Duswalt’s RockStar Boot Camp in Los Angeles. I put some rules to my findings, and then approached all of the people to let them know I’m sharing their stories this week.
I want to share them with you as they are now considered my friends. They were not the speakers on stage. I’m not in a rush to meet anyone who is any kind of celebrity; I want to meet everyone and shake their hand or give them a hug and let them know they matter in life.
These are people who are moving and shaking the world they are in. They may have been on the stage at one point but they were not featured speakers. I am going to share how they are great personal people, with a great world view of making changes.
I will include links for you to see they are real, that they are people who will change the world someday. Some of them have great online or offline businesses. All of them have a dream and are excited about life. All of them will one day speak on a Tim Gillette stage when they are ready to speak.
Life is about change, about people changing. Enjoy this week as I share with you people changing people. In the future I will be looking for people to share their stories just like I’m sharing these this week.
If you find out I’m coming to your town and want to share your story send me an email and let’s talk. This past week we started to put up some of the changes that are taking place to offer people the help they need. We posted the information on our first Rocker Life Workshop to be held in North Dallas on April 21st. Check this link to sign up:
We will be having these workshops in towns across America; our next one is scheduled for June and will be in Las Vegas. If you would like a chance to have our workshop in your town contact us for the details on how you could host one. With hosting a workshop in your town you will also have the chance to partner with us in a joint venture and make money for doing so. Contact us about your town today. See you tomorrow for the first installment of RockStar Friends week.
