So we are finishing up our vacation trip tonight and working from our hotel room. We ordered in food and decided to put on the TV to watch while we eat. We turned on a show that we just could not stop watching. This is good since it seems they are having a marathon and we ended up watching several hours of show after show.

The show we were watching was about restoring old things. It was great to watch a man put his mind to work to find ways to create or recreate machines and other memorabilia. It brought to mind the way my mind as well as other entrepreneurial minds work.

Most people will tell you when it’s time to head to bed; they turn off the TV, turn off the radio and shut out all the noise. Well when you are a thinker, as I am, as soon as it gets silent, your mind gets to work.

I have heard over and over from friends who tell of how just before they head to sleep each night it seems that the mind kicks in and all kinds of ideas come to mind but they can’t seem to remember them in the morning.

Well the way I have found to help me sleep is the music channel or having a movie playing. With the TV on sleep mode, it shuts off in 30 to 60 minutes, while I fall asleep. This gets me to relax.

So back to the show. It was good to watch this man’s mind work on physical things. I love to do that to help my business and help create ideas for my clients and watch them change their life and business. What are you going to do to take your mind to a creative state in business and life?
