Good Sunday morning to you from South Central Texas. We have been out riding on some fun roads in the heart of Texas – an area called the Hill Country. It’s like we are living the Rock ‘n Roll dream. Well I am anyway. Most of the people I’m riding with this weekend took valuable vacation time from their jobs to go on this group ride. But, hey. I’m not here to tell you about my riding, except to let you know that this September I’ll be leading a Route 66 ride and retreat. We’ll be starting in Joliet, IL and riding to Clinton, OK, ending the ride at the Route 66 Museum five days later. If you love to ride, want a planned trip down one of the most historic roads in the country, and also want to experience in-depth coaching and training along the way to help you achieve your dreams, think about joining us on this great ride.
This week’s posts will be devoted to lessons I’ve learned from Rock ‘n Roll. Each day this week, I’m going to take a story or song from rock history and show you how it impacted my life for the better. The point of this week is just like the post I did several weeks ago entitled “All Done, That’s For You.” We can learn lessons in life from anything if we first make ourselves teachable.
Each day the topic will be around something to do with rock or pop music. I am a lover of rock music; I’m probably jamming to some good tunes right now on my bike. But to learn things from rock music and the stars who make it? That is what makes my life exciting; that is what helps me provide you with good content to read and ways to improve your life.
So who is going to be first? Is my favorite band going to be in the mix? Will there be a guest posting from a rock star? These questions will all be answered this week. Until then enjoy the rest of your weekend. See you tomorrow.
I’m Tim Gillette, the Rocker Life Coach, with this message: it’s time for you to Live the life you always wanted, Love what you do and the journey you are on. Let us help you become the RockStar in your world.
