This weekend, I found myself rewatching the 2000 classic sports movie, The Replacements. Now, I’ll admit—I’m not a huge sports fan, but there’s something about sports movies that always pulls me in. They have a way of weaving life lessons into every play, every loss, and every comeback.
In The Replacements, the story revolves around a group of players who weren’t exactly living their dreams. Football didn’t give them the opportunity they hoped for, so they moved on with life. But then, they were given something extraordinary: a second chance.
They got to step back onto the field and chase the passion they thought was lost forever. And here’s the thing—they showed up. They gave it their all.
It got me thinking:
When was the last time you wished for a second chance?
