Last night I went to dinner with two of my friends, Jeff and Jen. It’s great to go and spend time in a fun place with those you work with. We went to visit a restaurant that sounded cool. Jen had been there before but Jeff and I had not. The location had housed five or six different eateries since it was built nine years ago.
It got me to thinking of the dead location type businesses, those places that never seem to keep a successful business. We had a long wait, and the food was good though a little pricey; the staff was very friendly. I looked around and wondered how long this place would be here?
Earlier in the day I had met with another coach I know in the Dallas area. She was one of those people I listened to on webinars and training when I starting coaching and speaking. We got to talking about so many other people we know in the industry and one person in particular who we don’t see much on the speaking circuit anymore.
Again I was wondering how many of the coaches and speakers I met three years ago when I officially started my business have come and gone. Many said the words: “I will not be doing this for long; I’m looking to get out of this.”
I tell these stories for a reason. So many businesses, coaches, entrepreneurs have gotten into a business, only to work to make some fast money and then “retire.” What makes them any different than the thief you see in a movie who says, “I’m doing this one last big score, then I’m done.”
Well let me give this to you in a Frank Kern kind of way today. I’m going to give you my commitment to you, just not on video like he does. I’m doing mine in print.
I am an entrepreneur who speaks, writes, coaches. I am not looking to find a few clients to set me up to move onto something else. Like I heard James Malinchak say from stage a few months ago: “I’m still doing what I’m teaching.”
Not only am I coaching people to build a side business to get them out of their day job, I’m building other businesses of my own.
Not only am I helping my clients build coaching programs and speaking businesses, and coaching them to write blogs and books, I am doing the same thing.
What I have to offer you is the fact that I am going to run side-by-side with you to build your dream, whatever that is. I am going to host seminars in many towns to give those who need it that little boost to get to them next level.
I am going to take those from the seminar who are ready to move to higher levels of success through personal coaching and run the race with them. I’m in this for the long run.
If you’re ready to take that first step, join me by clicking on the Seminars page or the links below to sign up for one of our events and come get yourself that entrepreneur mindset; come find out what you need to become the RockStar in your life and business today. See you at one of my upcoming events and I’ll see you tomorrow with another post.
