It’s the last day of our week of reasons to never give up. I think we have shared some very powerful ones this week. But let’s face it; all the reasons in the world will not matter if you really don’t want to push on. I could show you all the logic that tells you that you would be so much better off if you just pushed on a little more, but that won’t necessarily make a difference to you.
Here is the truth that must be brought out: you have to want to keep going. I wish I could come to visit each of you and show you what success came when I pressed on. I wish I could come by and see what challenges you are facing to then point out what you need to do to get you past the current obstacle that is in your path.
You have to want to do it; you have to want what it is you are chasing so badly that you will not give in to any reason to quit. When you want that success or you want that goal or dream you are working for, you will not need a reason to not give up because giving up will never even be an option to you.
So on our last day of the week I wanted to give you my last reason to never give up. We all had a parent at one time during our childhood who told us the reason for something was “because I said so.” I used to hate it when my mom said that; I wanted to know why. As I got older and had my own kids, I understood the reason my parenst said that. It was their home and that is the way they wanted it.
So I want to give you this for a reason; if this is your first time to read a post on this blog, well then trust me on this one. If you are a long-time reader who has been with us since we starting posting more than two years ago, you have some faith in the words I write. This is the biggest reason why you should not give up on your dreams, goals, current problem, or whatever it is you want out of life. The last of my reasons you should not give up or quit:
Because I said so.
I wish I could get you to see how much I believe in your success; this is the best way I can show you how much I care. I want you to succeed. Then I want you to write me and tell me about it and then we will celebrate your dream, your victory, together.
It’s been a great week. I hope you have now thrown out the idea that you want to give up. If you know a friend who is thinking of quitting share this week’s posts with them. Have a great weekend.
