Your Personal Next Level

Your Personal Next Level

I have mentioned before about how my good friend, Rob Skiba, was part of getting me back into the goal-setting process. Rob actually shared with me how he broke down his own goals for personal growth, career, and spirituality.

When we think of the process of getting to our next level, we’re not talking just about your business life. You should be working on all areas for growth. For example, last week we talked about health and getting ourselves in better shape with our sexy body.

Well do you have a next level in any personal area you are working on? My wife is training to run a marathon this year. She has a schedule of workouts that must be completed. It’s a step-by-step process to get ready to run this marathon.

When it comes to things in your personal life, you must work on the growth to become that person of strength in that area. It cannot all be done in one shot; you must take it level by level to make it to the top of that mountain you are climbing.

One of the songs I use in my events and masterminds is by Miley Cyrus, from the Hannah Montana movie. It’s about the climb and how we all want to quit; how life is not about how fast we get someplace but about that climb getting there.

When you take it step by step, work it level by level, you will see that personal growth. I want you to take a moment and write down what that next level is in your personal life. This is not about business; it’s something you are working to improve in yourself. Then write down three action steps you are going to take this week to make that growth level happen.

Join me every day this week as we talk more about your next level.

Rockstar Tim Gillette I’m Tim Gillette, creator of the Rock ’n’ Roll Keys to Business Success. It’s time to take action and start living your dream. Are you ready to change and make 2013 rock?

PS: The new book, You CAN Always Get What You Want, is now available! Stay tuned for the launch. Look for it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble online, and coming to a bookstore near you.
